Mable Tan worked as a journalist for three years before moving to Melbourne to begin a new journey in life. She is also a freelance writer and photographer. Brainworks Central is her brainchild and she's set on to the path of being financially worry-free for the rest of her life. Do you have any idea how powerful you are?
That the biggest lie we've been told was that we had no control over our lives and circurmstances?
Recently, we've received quite a number of emails from our readers (thank you). Some wrote about their desperate need for money, now more than ever, due to the festive season.
It can be quite a testing time for some of us and we empathise with your current situation. It's not something anyone wants to be in and we pray that the current will turn to your favour soon. You will be in our hearts and prayers. So have faith. When you have hope in your heart, life has already changed for the better.
Whilst Brainworks Central is a hub to help us transform and shift our mindsets, I'm no expert in know-hows. Every article and book that is featured on Brainworks Central will help us to change our life by feeding new ideas into our brains. Fresh perspective gives us freedom and answers to the challenges we face. We can never be stuck. We were born for change. We are great, powerful beings that can produce anything we set our minds to.
We often think that our circumstances would be different if life was different: 'If only I had more money', 'more time', 'more love', 'a better job', 'a better partner', 'better kids'… etc. then I’ll be happy.
Yet ‘more’ never made any difference. When we look to the external for happiness and fulfilment, it also means we don’t own up to the responsibility over our lives. We become victims instead of creators. We become spectators instead of winners.
When we begin to look inwards instead of outwards, then our awareness is heightened. We're no longer pigs waddling in our own ... well, crap because we begin to understand that we created that crap in the first place. So what do we do? Do we make more crap and swim in it? Or do we decide to stop and move on?
Before we start the New Year (and make resolutions we never keep), take a long honest look at our lives. Are we happy with how things are? Are we grateful for what we have received? What did we do to contribute to the crap?
Observe if you had anything to do to make it the way it is now. We literally think our lives into reality so if you don't like what you're seeing so far, we suggest you start thinking differently.
You see, Life is always listening and it will give us whatever we give attention and energy to. The more we blame others and take less responsibility over our being-ness, we’ve given the power of our mistakes to someone else. And so we become power-less. But when we learn from our mistakes and take responsibility over our thoughts, emotions, being-ness, then we become the great powerful being that we truly are.
Brainworks Central wishes all our readers a very Merry Christmas and a truly great 2008. Think it to absolute magnificence!
